Sports card selling guide
APEX Sports Cards HQ buys graded and raw sports cards, Pokémon, sealed product, lots, and collections. Start online with photos and details, or meet us at a confirmed card show.
What APEX considers
Buying needs change with the market, so every submission is reviewed individually. A submission is a request for evaluation, not a promise that APEX will purchase every item.
Professionally graded singles across sports, eras, players, sets, parallels, and price levels.
Ungraded singles with clear front-and-back photos and an honest description of condition.
Small groups, curated collections, and larger collections that can be clearly inventoried and reviewed.
Pokémon cards and eligible sealed collectible-card products are welcome for review.
How offers are evaluated
A recent sold listing is useful only when it is genuinely comparable. APEX reviews the exact item and the practical risk of purchasing it—not an asking price or a single outlier sale.
Year, set, player, card number, variation, parallel, serial number, autograph, and grade all matter.
Centering, corners, edges, surface, alterations, and grading details can materially change value.
Recent verified sold results are weighed for recency, similarity, market demand, and unusual outliers.
Liquidity, fees, shipping, price volatility, and the time required to find a buyer affect the final cash offer.

The online quote is preliminary. You keep possession of your cards until APEX provides an offer and written next-step instructions.
Offers vary by the exact card, authenticity, condition, demand, recent verified sold listings, fees, and resale risk. Select high-demand cards may qualify for an offer up to 95% of APEX-selected recent sold comps, but that maximum does not apply to every card or collection.

No. A preliminary quote can change after APEX physically inspects the item and confirms authenticity, exact condition, and current market activity.
Use sharp, well-lit front-and-back photos. Include close-ups of corners, edges, surfaces, damage, serial numbering, autographs, and grading labels when applicable. Better photos make the preliminary review more useful.
